For Adults: Learning to Read the Classics

Learn to read Latin or Ancient Greek with other adults in a Calder Classics Online course that recreates an intimate Brooklyn brownstone atmosphere!! Five-week courses start from the elementary aspects of learning vocabulary and grammar. We push through the grind to get to the gold, reading Cicero, Ovid, Vergil in Latin or Homer, Plato, and Aristotle in Ancient Greek by the end. We invite erstwhile students with  “LEARN LATIN” or "LEARN ANCIENT GREEK" on their bucket list, who want to expand their verbal and writing skills or who just want to continue learning in a dynamic social setting. And BYO food and wine, of course! 

Dates & Fees

Evening weekly classes will be offered periodically for five consecutive weeks from 6:30-8:00pm. Create your own group at any time by filling out the reservation form below.

The  fee is negotiable dependent on class size.
